Prime Therapeutics mail order
I have BCBS of CA and get mail order prescriptions through Prime Therapeutics. In general I have not had any real problems with their service but this last month we did have an issue. My daughter goes to college several hours away from our home and gets a prescription sent to her at her home there. This past month the medication was sent to the family home. She will be home for the summer in 10 days and has enough medication to last until then but this was a definite error on the part of Prime.

This past January my company switched from Humana to BCBS. This switch also involved switching to Prime Therapeutics as the pharmacy benefit manager.
I just sent them new prescriptions for all of my meds and I never missed a dose.

Prime Therapeutics
I looked on Wikipedia about Prime Therapeutics and I see that they are not in Pennsylvania but have an office in Pittsburgh.
I wonder if they eventually will be in all states?
I never had mail order prescription service but was thinking of it this past month since now I have maintenance drugs.
It looks like they are not a problem and can transition smoothly.
I have learned so much on this site. Thanks for the post.STR

My amitriptilyne (50mg/day) costs $7.02 for a 90 day supply.
My Gabapentin (3600mg/day) costs $269.39 for 90 days.
My Ampyra is billed at $1478.43 for 30 days, through one of their specialty pharmacies. With help from the people at Ampyra I pay $40/month.
