    worst cites for wheelchairs

So I recently graduated college and am on the job search.
i use a wheelchair for distance and am wondering if there are cities that, in general, are not very wheelchair friendly, so i can avoid them

That is a good question. In the US, buildings are required to have some sort of wheelchair access. The question is how much extra traveling does a person have to do to get to the accessible entrance.

Cities that have a lot of old historic buildings are probably not at good for a carefree wheelchair lifestyle as cities with new buildings. Also, a city with a lot of hills creates more of a challenge.

Wheelchair access is one of the most important parts of designing a building.

Ditto Palmtree - anywhere that's newer should work well.

I've heard good things about Seattle and Denver. LA's pretty good too.

Good luck and keep us posted.
