Just spoke with CVS Caremark's billing department regarding a balance they claim I have. CVS Caremark says the retail price of Copaxone is now (sit down everybody!) $10,019.46 per month. However, with my insurance it costs $5100.82 per month. My insurance coverage for drugs is a 60/40 split.
The Assistance Fund is helping (paying) me with the 40%.
According to Caremark I have a $10 copay as the Assistance Fund pays all but $10.
Does anyone else have a co-pay when they get assistance through the Assistance Fund? I am so thankful for the Assistance Fund - just would like to know if anyone else has had this happen.
