    Hello and question

I am 33 male married ten years with two children (5 and 7 mo). I have a job I love, but lots of weird stuff happening last few months. Numbness on left side, hangover like headaches that come and go, and now lower back pain so intense I can barely stand. MRI showed two lesions, but neuro said I needed multiple flare ups for definitive MS. Around inflammation, does anyone use tart cherry concentrate? I am looking for some relief on a Sunday without going to the ER$$$.

    Thanks
    Chad

Not yet, but this is my first time with the back pain. Before I've had only the dizziness, weakness, and headaches with some dull eye pain and twitching. I hope to see my neuro tomorrow, or at least my gp. The toughest part seems to be all the variation in symptoms and treatments.

Hi Chad, welcome to MS world! Is your numbness constant?
Where are your lesions? In your brain, or in your brain and spine? Hope you have a good afternoon.

Thanks for the reply! My numbness is not constant. What is constant is the dull pain behind my eye and low to moderate headaches and dizziness. Sometimes I feel close to 100%, and other times not so good. The lesions were on my brain, and my neuro seemed not very concerned, but I want to go to MS Specialist now, especially considering my lower back pain. My onset seems to align with when I was lifting weights. I felt dizzy and weak and had to stop. I have had lots of blood work and stress test...all came back normal except for low vit d and b12....which I have now been taking daily. I'm still very uncertain about things, but my issues definitely most closely align with MS.

Have you seen an eye doctor? The pain behind your eye could be caused by optic neuritis. The low back pain could be caused by muscle spasms. If it is muscle spasms, there are meds you can take to relieve it but will have to see your doc to get them.
I do hope you feel better soon and keep us updated.

              Jodi,

Yes I saw the eye doctor and my vision and optic nerve were both good. She told me to use drops so my eyes don't get dried out....as this can cause dull pain as well. As for the back, Advil has helped but I am going to hopefully see a doctor tomorrow.
