im currently taking flexeril for muscle spasms 10 mg 3 times a day is anyone taking something else for muscle spasm that is working thanks

If your insurance will go for it the extended release flexeril works awesome! Amrix is the name but generic is available. Still expensive even though it's generic. 30 mg taken once in 24 hrs
Otherwise, take flexeril during the day and zanaflex at night. Baclofen is also an option too.

I was on flexeril and it did nothing. I was having such bad spasms I was screaming and crying. I went to a MS specialist and he said flexeril is not made for MS spasms. He put me on baclofen and wow does it work! (for me at least)Comment
