Has anyone switched from gabapentin to Lyrica? My neurologist said to taper off the Gabapentin before starting the Lyrica. I am trying but can't tell if the spasticity is worsening. She wants to try the Lyrica to help with my MS hug pain that I get in my back. I only have the hug on one side but it is constant. The pain occurs when I am moving, twisting turning, stooping or bending and then gets worse until I stop. Only solution seems to sit constantly and I am tired of that. Also worried about weight gain with the Lyrica.
