I'm not sure where to put this comment but I'll post it here and you can move it anywhere it is appropriate.
Like most people in the forum we have memory problems. I have been diagnosed with RRMS. I have looked up this "RR" at least a hundred times. I seem to have no problem remembering "Remission" but have a real problem accessing the second "R". I also have problems figuring out other commonly used acronyms such as "DW." While writing I find that having to leave my note to look up the abb. or acr. Is there any way to add it to the tool bar with "User PC, FAQ...etc." That way we could just scroll up, look it up and add it to our current being-written note. I don't even know if it is possible or is there a way to access that drop-down with in the forum/threaded area. I sure would be easier for me as well as I am guessing others. It would cut out a lot of the frustration. Dave Journeyman Tampa, Florida |

I think I made an error in my entry above. The PC, FAQ..." bar would still not be accessible. I would have to be placed somewhere where it would be able to be used by the writer.
Sorry. Just an idea. Dave ![]() |

RR is relapsing-remitting.
I had never seen DW, other than that a college roommate called me DW every now and then. In that case it was short for dimwit. But according to the thread below that I just found, it's Dear Wife. http://www.msworld.org/forum/showthr...light=acronyms |

Please see my entry today under "Summer Bucket List."
she is everything to me. I thought it meant "dependent wife." Actually I am the "DL&TH" Dependent Loving and T]hankful Husband. It breaks my heart to read of these poor people that as soon as they are dx'd their spouse leaves them. Not to be religious but the Bible says... "there will be hot coals heaped upon their heads...," for those kind of people. (my paraphrase.) I feel sorry for them. I just, for the life of me, cannot comprehend that kind of behaviour. And I am a Med. Ret. Psych. RN who has seen some of the most ill in our society. Happy Mom's day to all of you moms. Thanks for your note.
