    Med break

I have finally decided that I need to stop using copaxone. I have been on meds for 14 years and think I need a month break to reset my body. Has anyone taken a med break? If you tell me how it went, I would really appreciate it.

I have been on a medication break (dmd) ever since my doctor change my diagnosis to primary progressive. I did not have either good or bad experiences. The latest medication was Copaxone ( five years).

      I've done it too

I have gone on med break before. I've been takiug Rebif for 7 years now ( and Avonex for 7 years before that) and took 2 weeks off during last holidays. My skin felt like it could not take anymore injections. It was great emotionally and my skin healed. I told my neurologist at the next visit and he was understanding.
