if my ssdi gets cut-off, how long before I could get regular (based on 62 yrs old) social security ? thanks

The transition from SSDI to SS Retirement benefits is automatically handled by SSA. You should recieve a notice from SSA regarding the transition to SS Retirement benefits. The benefit amount remains the same.

qmuddy2, my reading comprenhension was not fully functioning when I replied to your post. I thought your question was related to interuption of SSDI when you become eligible for regular SS retirement.
