House passes VA funding bill, 407-12
For you post 9/11 vets, this is good news. ![]() There were some rumbles until people remembered that you were getting deployed- a LOT and for a very long time to fight a war that no one liked to talk about. ![]() Anyway, congrats. You more than deserve it. ![]() |

I saw the other day that about 50% of gulf war vets are applying for disability of some sort, which means this
$ won't last long and delay for approval will get longer than it is now.

they do need to figure out a better structure, and maybe even tighten the rains, for instance i knew a Viet Nam who died a few years ago from cancer, so his wife saw online that she could get D.I.C of 1054 a month, now i dont i have a problem with that, except for this was like his 3rd or 4th wife, and she was not married to hom during his time in country or even his time in service . They married almost 20+ years after the fact. That is what bothers me , and then she also gets tricareand had the Lap Band surgery which is about 35grand that tricare paid for it then she told me she is not gonna follow thru with the after care portion so 4 years later she lost maybe 20 poind pounds, i told her that was a slap in all veterans face's and she needs to rethink her decsions cause there are vets that need care and cant get cause people like her. Ended a friendship o Well no sweat of my back
