Not new but new, if you see what I mean...
Hello everyone,
it occurred to me that, until the other day when I wrote a reply to a thread on the PP/SP forum, I hadn’t been seen on these boards for a long time – possibly, even years. You might wonder who I am, or – perish the thought! – think I’m rude. I needed to introduce myself... I can’t actually remember if I wrote an Intro when I joined MS World but - as I can’t find anything saved - I think I should write something now. My name is Virginia, I’m 59-years-old and my home is in London, UK. I was diagnosed with PPMS in 2001. I also have scoliosis. I have an adult son who no longer lives with me (I do have a live-in carer) but stays often and helps a lot. I also have a toy poodle called Lucy. I am a former journalist and spend most of my time now, on the computer, writing blogs and/or trying to write fiction. I used to write a lot more on forums but, you know, chronic fatigue... I use herbal remedies, only (my son works at a medical herbalist’s), and I have a strong Christian faith. Those are the two things which keep me going. And that’s about it. That’s me...in a nutshell! I’ve been reading here for years, now I look forward to writing/contributing more and, hopefully, makng friends. Thank you, MS World. Virginia
