Subvets National Convention

I'm thniking about going to the USSVI National Convention in September in Norfolk, VA. Anyone else in that area or going to that convention?

i have an honoray trident , disable/retired Army Vet here, a good buddy who is on the teams got me on a trident for a 1 day cruise it was awsome but dont think i would want to be a full time bubble head

I'm not planning on it, we tried to plan putting together a reunion for the 580 Decomm guys during the "B-Girls" reunion for all three boats and I think we're all still too young for that stuff.
My other boat is due to decomm sometime this year. I'm half interested in going to it since I got stuck aboard for two years of an extended overhaul, which was a lot of bad hours plus three section inport duty.
Do they stop you at the gate if you're carrying a hammer and cutting torch?

they dont stop me beacuse i have my blue decal on my window , a great benny for being medicald out ... on that not found out i will be getting a 100 percent so thats a cool 3000 grand tax free that and my ssdi i will be doing all right
