Alright been imbolie almost completely for about 5 weeks due to a broken ankle have put on 10 poubds somehow in that time was finally able to get onto an a scale after getting permission to bear some weight on my broken ankle bare foot.

Needless to say even before that was slowly gaining weight somehow I don't generally eat all that most to start with,m bu had a steroid treatment in march that plumped me up a little, but even before that was slowly gaining weight since I started my copoxone andf my vbitium supplement of b 12 also read that balcofen can sometimes cause weght gain not sure about ampyria though..

No sure if this is the right form for this, but need advice about thinks I can dositting down to burn weight or what not, I have some small 5 pound weights and a 10 pound weight form my time during physically therapy but any other suggestions or advice would be welcomed.

Sorry for any typos or errors just want to keep my weight down some.

The Sit and Be Fit exercises might appeal to you. Many PBS stations run the daily TV program. It uses 1/2-hour workouts, part sitting part standing.

There are also numerous programs on video and DVD available for purchase. (Some programs are all-sitting exercises.) The Products section of the website has a list of recommendations for which programs are best suited for particular medical conditions, including ankle fracture and MS. The website also has a listing of which PBS stations carry the TV program and when it airs. www.sitandbefit.org or google it.

hi red talon!
good question. several of the ms sites have exercise videos and also dvds. one in particular that i like is Fitness with Katrina
it's free on www.msactivesource.com. all you have to do is click on it and give them your info and they'll send it to you.
there are many others out there on Tia Chi, yoga, etc. that have modifications for MSrs including wc bound.
on our group Wii Exercise some of our members are wc bound and manage to exercise and lose weight. you might want to check out some of those threads for ideas. or ask the members themselves.
lots here are always willing to help if they see your question.
hope you find something that works for you. roids and being in a wc makes weight loss and exercise a challenge. but it is possible!
take care and God bless ya!

I would like to second that 'Fitness With Katrina' (available at no charge from MS Active Source) would be a great choice, as most exercise moves are done seated.

Even seated, you will get your heart rate up!
