wife/GF's with MS and involved with a soldier

I'm just wondering if there's anyone here that's married or dating a soldier...I am and he's deploying later this year. so I was just wanting to know how you deal with the stress of everything that goes on?

I don't know where you are, however, I assume you're close to an Army post.

I'm retireed Air Force and have deployed numerous times. The key for YOU in preparation for your sweetie's deployment (and to lessen the stress while he is deployed)is to contact wives and/or girlfriends with whom your soldier is deploying. Ask him to try and get info on support groups for wives/girlfriends of those deployed.

My wife always did that and according to her, it was key to maintaining her sanity.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you and please thank your soldier for his service to this great country.
