Nutrilite Vitamins & Supplement drinks

I started taking Nutrilite Vitamins, and supplement drinks. I can say that I feel incredible. The energy drink and supplements have all of the B vitamins. I also increased my Vitamin D. Got my blood test results and they are all good. Doctor said to keep doing what I am doing.

Has anyone else tried these supplements. I was hestiant at first, but now I wish I would have continued my supplements since DX in sept. 2011, the Dr. told me to go off all supplements. I do not like taking pain pills, spasm pills, and anxiety pills.

Nutrilite is Amway; their vitamins/supplements are not proven to be different/better than any other brand. In addition to that, some of us are resistant to multi-level marketing schemes, preferring to buy our vitamins/supplements in stores or online. I get mine (various brands) from iHerb.com or from my local whole foods co-op (of which I am a founding member).

Why did your doctor initially tell you to go off all supplements? Was he concerned about "boosting" the immune system?

Regardless, that's good news about your Vitamin D3!

These supplements sound like they are making a positive difference. Good for you !
What exactly is it that you are taking ?
Where do you buy it ?
I may be interested to try these products . i would be willing to mortgage my house to pay for anything that will make me feel better.

Just please remember that it's against MSWorld Guidelines for members to attempt to sell things to one another.

Vitamins and Supplements

I was following a VEGAN way of life for 10 months prior to being DXd. "The China Study" . A vegarian way of life for almost 12 year. Becasue of Heart Disease and Diabetes in my family, I have always used higher quality vitamins and supplements, not from the drug store.. I am in no way selling any products or suggesting that you buy from anyone. I used Advocare products for 12 years before this. My fatigue and issues with MS were so bad that a friend suggested I just try the energy drinks which is no more than Vitamin B, and the other drinks full of Vitamin B. I must say I feel back to myself in only 3 weeks.

My Dr. did not understand homeopathic way of living off of vitamins, and fruits and vegetables. Because of the medications he was putting me on, he did not want adverse side effects. I had to fight to get PROBOTICS and a VEGAN meal in the hospitals, I finally had the entire staff in my room to listen to what my needs were. They were more concerned about my religion that my whole body health.

I only share with others in a hope that they too will find relief from this disease. My best to all of you.. Life is about choices and I choose to be healthier with the proper vitamins and supplements. Hope you too can find a balance.

dlorist1,
I have watching and reading your posts. Like 'Sequoia', I am curious about your vitamin D levels. You posted that they were within range when you last tested. That is reassuring. I understand that you have possibly found a 'fatigue' fixer in these drinks and supplements. As I said in my last post, I would give anything to regain my vitality.
What is your doctor's problem? Are you back on the supplements? I hope you realize, that if your doctor advises against nutritional supplementation, you should find a doctor who is in the 'integrative' medicine world. I mean a certified MD, who is a 'real' doctor, that uses every means to treat patients. Regular doctors are 'pill pushers' that know very little about vitamins and supplements. I have my regular doctors idea of a 'fatigue fixer' in a derawer, Provigil, Useless bottle of crap !
I like your doctor's advice to keep on doing what you are doing. That's good advice since he doesn't know what is working for you and you do !
Since it is against the rules to post about products that seem to work, do you mind if I contact you via email?
