I Never Thought I Would Be In A Nursing Home at 55!

Palmtree you are so right about nursing homes you loose everything by going into one of them

I been there a lot for short stays and it is not a place I want to live permantley

Hi Dancingontheedge,

I am sorry you have to experience a nursing home at 55. I know my Mom, when she was 83, didn't want to go for Rehab. She didn't want to be surrounded by "old" people. I am sure it is a struggle everyday. I hope the Wellbutrin is working.


I do agree with other posters that the former place needs to be reported. I hope you can do that.

sorry to hear of the loss of your husband.
i am 49 and in a nursing home,care is good but very few under 70 and entertainment from 30's n 40's
so to say i feel out of place is understatement .I hope to return home at some point.
But know how you feel being in their
