Off and on for the past year I been getting a bitter taste in my mouth, it also interferes when I eat food and I can taste it on my lips. My gastro cant find anything and gives me reflux pills. Now it's just getting worse!!! it comes and goes and sometimes even after I eat I get so sick to my stomach because the bitterness comes back. Has anyone has this before?

Acid reflux and medications are probably most common causes of bitter (metallic) taste in mouth, but there are a lot more causes:

For example:
- Various foods: pine nuts and some fish, oral allergy syndrome...
- Dry mouth
- Various mouth conditions: tooth abscess, mouth candida...
