Paging jreagan70: More MRI interpretation request

Pretend we're casual acquaintances at a party, and I bug you for medical advice. Bet you miss it. Heh.

So I got my MRI results back today and wondered about some of the wording. To wit:

"Patchy areas of T2 shine through are seen within the periventricular white matter.

There is mild cerebral atrophy with concordant prominence of the ventricles. There are multiple T1 hypointense lesions seen within the periventricular white matter bilaterally."

What is significance of T1 vs. T2, let alone hypointense T1 lesions?
I understand what atrophy means, but what are the classifications of atrophy?
What is considered "mild" as opposed to, say, "moderate" or "severe?"
What type of deficiencies are typical with varying levels of atrophy?
Is atrophy considered a benchmark for disease progression? Does evidence of atrophy count toward defining RRMS vs. secondary progressive?
Why the comment about "concordant prominence of the ventricles?" Are ventricles considered prominent normally when there is atrophy? Or does concordant mean that the ventricles are exhibiting atrophy as well?

Thank you in advance for your expertise. Also, thanks for humoring a boor. I'll pay you later.
