    Joint Pain

I've had ms for 15 years. Recently I've been experiencing joint pain in finer gets an elbow. Is this just another symptom of ms or possibly something new. Thanks for any info. Roxy118

I don't know what that means, but MS is a disease of the central nervous system, not of joints. So your joint pain is most likely due to something else.

It's possible for spasticity or muscle weakness from MS to pull joints out of alignment, and the misalignment can cause pain, but MS itself isn't the cause.

It could be beneficial for you to work with a physical therapist or physiatrist to evaluate your muscle function and joint alignment, and your PCP can order X-rays, to find out what's causing your pain and recommend possible treatments. Good luck!

I believe it is autocorrect for "fingers and elbow."
