    Ty & swelling

Does anyone's ankles/legs swell? Is it a transient thing?

I had my first infusion yesterday & last night one of my ankles & lower leg swelled. I elevated it for awhile & this morning it is better. Not totally down, but much better.

Hi, I think you should check in with your dr. on that one. Probably nothing but edema can be from a lot of things. Have you ever had that before taking the TY. I would at least call the Dr.s nurse just to be safe.

Didn't happen to me. I drink a lot of water though. I don't know if that makes a difference.

tortis - I looked online & it can be a side effect of ty. As long as my ankle/leg continues to get better, I'll be fine without calling the Dr. The only other med that made my ankles swell was gabapentin...and that was worse than what's going on now. My swelling went away when I stopped taking that.
