Has anyone else had a change in food tastes since their DX? It's something I haven't heard about, but my tastes have definitely changed. I used to love salty, fatty foods. ( chips, pizza, fried chicken, etc. ) but now it makes me nauseous. not complaining, I'm definitely eating healthier now, I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Now if I would just lose my taste for sweets!

I think maybe it's less a change in your tastebuds and more of an omg I've got MS urge to eat healthy.
Which is good. I still like a chip or fifteen. -
Only time food tastes funny is when I had IV steroids. And that only lasts a day.

I'm kind of glad, really, makes it easier to eat healthier! But there is a definite change, not just a mind thing. I, too get the funny taste with steroids, but, for me, that is just with liquids, and is very temporary, this is with food and has lasted about a month now. I tend to lose my sense of taste for something when I'm having a flare. Last time I couldn't taste salt even if I ate it on it's own. It made it really hard to cook meals as I couldn't taste what I was cooking.Comment
