    Recommend a neuro in Tucson?

    Hello,
My daughter who lives in Tucson has strong symptoms of MS for a few weeks now (partially paralyzed, weak, numb, tingly left arm). Can anyone recommend a neurologist there?

ER took an MRI of the brain and said she didn't have MS because no lesions in the brain.
I had the same experience 10 years ago with ER here in Denver. Later I saw a good, thorough neuro who determined I had MS when a spinal MRI found lesions in my spine along with O bands in spinal fluid.
I've had several neuros over the years and know that they vary a lot in thoroughness so I'm hoping she can find a good one in Tucson.
    DX RRMS 2/2005
Rebif 2/2005 - 2/2007 - developed antibodies to Rebif and new lesions
Copaxone 20mm daily 2/2007 to present - no new symptoms or lesions!!

MS specialists can be found through this link with NMSS:

I imagine there are members who can specifically recommend a Doctor as well.

Good luck with your search and to your daughter.

      Hi Cen,

Welcome to MSWorld! If your daughter is willing to drive to Phoenix, looks like there's a couple listed here http://www.mscare.org/search/custom.asp?id=881

Hopefully, someone can recommend someone closer! Best of luck in your search, and to both you and your daughter.
