    Distant cures as current "news".

Just watched the news, you know how it goes, cure found for awful disease, (rheumatoid arthritis this time) but this time it sounded as though they were actually treating people right now, injections being given etc.
Stops white cells attacking healthy cells. "Puts an end to this crippling disease", "people are using the word 'cure'" etc.

I was quite hopeful; sounded like just the ticket for MS. Stupid me.
Last words of the report were, "researchers hope the drug will be available in ten years".
I should (and do) know better but for some reason it really upset me.
I could imagine how excited all those people with RA watching would have been.
Raising false hope, even for five minutes, is just cruel.

Agree with everything you said. I have been let down so many times...

I am concerned about all the Anti-Lingo hype. It is a true game changer...for all of us if it is true. If not alot of us will feel let down, including me.

I've learned not to pay attention to the reports of possibilities anymore.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
