During a relapse, a return of older symptoms?

During a relapse, has anyone had a return of older symptoms (even if they are fleeting)?

I ask this because I am in a relapse (vertigo) but am experiencing some occassional older symptoms every now and again that I haven't had in years that have only resurfaced since this latest attack.

Any thoughts?
