MSers in Ontario, Canada - changing neuros?
Hi all,
Looking for info from anyone who has changed neuros in Ontario.
I've been with my current neuro since being diagnosed 10 years ago.
I feel like the standard of care has decreased significantly and I would like to change to someone i feel actually gives a darn about me and my health. Have had 3 bad appointments in a row where i feel like i've somehow done something wrong by asking valid questions.
Has anyone switched neuros before, and if so, how?
I believe due to OHIP I would have to get a referral from my GP to one of the MS Clinics in Toronto (my neuro is currently with the MS clinic at St Mike's)
Does anyone have experience with this?
