Provigil Prescription

Do you have to have a written prescription to submit to your pharmacy for Provigil or can your doctor transmit (probably not the right term but I can't recall what the term is when your doctor sends a prescription to the pharmacy from their office or phones it in - if anyone still uses the phone for new prescriptions) one to the pharmacy?
Is Provigil considered a restricted drug?

For my insurance a lot of paperwork and justification had to be done by my neurologist to get provigil approved for me to use. The insurance company rejected the first three requests. Finally got approval and it has helped me. Hope you have an easier time getting it and that it helps you too.

My neuro has finally

sent the prescription to my pharmacy (as they have in the past). Now I wait to see what is done with the denial (I know it's coming......). In the past, my neuro did NOTHING when it was denied.
