Starting Gilenya next Wednesday have a question

I am currently on Tecfidera and have been for a 18 months. Is there a wash out period from Tec to G? I asked Novartis and they said it was up to your Neuro. So I called my Neuro to see but they have to call back tomorrow.

Just checking to see what others have done. Has anyone been told by their Neuro to do a washout?

I was already on a 'vacation' from DMD's so that wasn't a concern for me. Sorry that I cant help you on this.

I just did my first dose of G today. I was on avonex prior and I was told they wanted me to be off avonex one week prior to gilenya. But it is really up to the neuro. So I wasn't more helpful! Good Luck!
