Can pins and needles last forever?

I had a flare in September which includes pins and needles in my left leg as well as some other symptoms. Everything is better to some degree except for the pins and needles which are there 24/7. Is it possible to have pins and needles that never go away?

I have had paresthesia in my limbs 24/7 for 5 years now. The intensity varies, but it's always there.

If it helps at all, I've had that feeling for a while and didn't think it would ever go away, but it finally did. Don't lose hope, it can still go away. Any time it happens to me, I'm usually stuck with it for like 3 months, and it usually takes an entire year for all symptoms to completely go away, if they ever do.

Mine is constant although varies I intensity during the day and night. Once it started it has never stopped. But there's always hope. My past neuro only considered new symptoms permanent if they lasted more than a year.
