    ugghh, no more mds

I'm 61 yes and and have been through so much for so long I'm just
    tired.
I'm in a facility where I can get the 24 hour I and need.
The np wants me to see a neuro and from there several tests; I'm not
up to it @ this point
I described my shoulder pain in earlier post.
Do you think its a wise tee decision?

    Hi angel,

Don't know exactly what decision you were referring to but if you mean your decision to put off having the tests or seeing more doctors at this time, I'll agree with your decision to put it off till you feel up to it.

I've often said that doctors ( and NPs) have no idea what they're asking of us when they line up tests, or doctor visits. They just don't understand how hard it can be to work up the energy, or the logistics of getting to tests and visits.

Taking a break from tests or a doctor visit, if it's not something life threatening you're facing, is not a bad decision. It is a personal decision and really has nothing to do with what the doctor or NP wants you to do, it has more to do with you knowing your own body/disease, and not allowing your activity level to make you worse than you were to begin with.

Sounds like you have care now, and if something got to be an emergency, I'm sure they'd put in an emergency call for you.
