    Thunderstorms and Fronts

Does anyone else experience a worsening in symptoms with changes in atmospheric pressure?

We have been having an active "spring" here in the NE and when a storm comes I actually feel a pulsing pain from the base of my skull to my feet. This happened at the very beginning of this flair but it's happening now with some thunderstorms (VERY STRANGE). The pain stops when the weather settles down.

Just wondering if it's the MS or it's in my mind?

    Thanks!

I've always wondered the same thing. Living in the Pacific NW, we have lots of low atmospheric pressure systems coming in and bringing the rain. When this happens, I get a bad headache and my body feels like I'm weighted down with 10# bags of cement. Overall fatigue is worse too.

As soon as the high pressure systems comes rolling along and it clears up, so does the headache and most of the fatigue. And now I'm walking with 3# bags of cement instead of 10.

My MS totally acts up when there is something going on weatherwise. More fatigue, more cog fog.

I thought I was crazy! Glad I'm not the only one.

Not sure about other MS symptoms but dang my PAIN sure gets worse anytime the barometer falls!

I used to get pain in my left knee. Thought it was RA like my mom and just ignored it.

Ugh, I do. I get so achy and weak. Mainly my legs. Like a couple days I was feeling pretty good. And then a front moved and down I went. It's awful. Is there anything to do to get thru this?

I get achy and sore all over when the weather changes. Headache is common also. My MS specialist said this was common with MS and with migraine sufferers.

I'm glad to know that I am not alone, but any advice on how to deal with it or anything to help?

I have found regular tylenol or advil doesn't really help any.

I feel way stiffer whenever there's rainy day and there has been a lot of those on the east coast, lately.

Thought maybe it was just me, but reading all the responses, I realize it's not.

I thought it was just me too that deals with this.

My legs feel as if I can't move them, my whole day is shot when the weather is bad. Today I was hobbling around much better, my stamina was up. I got a lot done...of course the weather is much better now.
