I read something online about an Australian MSer who has received an effective treatment that needs to be funded to get it into clinical trials. It seems that there is very little information about it on this site.

The article is in the 'courier mail' from Australia from about a month ago. The story says that researchers focused on the Epstein Barr virus. I don't understand the medicine or science but they seem to have shown some progress in improving the MSer's abilities. I wish I could find out more on this story.

I think this is probably something different and at this point it is more of a direction of study/research that viable treatment option:

You can read Dr. Pender's explanation of his research here: http://multiple-sclerosis-research.b...el-pender.html
It's not the Charcot project; this is something newer. My understanding is that Pender feels that Epstein Barr is not necessarily the problem. It's our inability to manage Epstein Barr. Most other people live just fine with the virus. MSers need our immune system retrained to stop fighting it so aggressively. My guess is that his treatment would benefit RRMSers too.

It would be great if this would be applicable to all MSer's. But there is a lot of information that has not been investigated. And even though Gary Allen was treated a year ago, some larger trial should be in the works asap.
I would be happy to participate in a clinical trial using Dr. Pender's methodology.
