I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis! On this board there are individual sections for the different meds, and lots of posts about comparing them. If you dig and and start reading, you'll find a ton of info. And, of course, people here are happy to answer specific questions.

Our Resource Center is good place to look for information. http://resourcecenter.msworld.org/ A book that is frequently recommended for those new to MS is called "MS for Dummies." There is also a Chat Room here, and you may want to check out the one called "Newly Diagnosed" on Wednesday nights at 8 pm.

It might help you get a feel of other's experiences with the different DMT's (Disease Modifying Therapies) by checking out our forum entitled "Medications & Treatments." Experiences with medications will vary, as our bodies all respond differently. Here's a few links about the various DMT's:
