    Initial Symptoms of Primary Progressive

Hello, I am currently in the process of getting a dx for PPMS. Can you tell me what symptoms initially brought you to see a doctor? Thanks.

Hello New to MS and welcome to MSWorld.

Symptoms are not based on the "type" of MS.

The "type" of MS is based on how it behaves or "prognosis."

The most common type to be diagnosed is Relapsing/Remitting(RRMS).

It will take time (possibly years) to determine what your prognosis is, if you have MS.

Each of us, regardless of prognosis, present with different symptoms. This disease is quite variable and individualized.

Extreme fatigue , mild eye/vision problems, tingling, numbness, weakness on my right side. It took a couple weeks for my dh to talk me into seeing a dr , couple more weeks to have mri done and Walla!! Magic, presto MS!!

After that first attack it was 11 yrs to the next major attack in 2001. 2006-07 having more problems walking, more and more cog amd memory issues. Downhill from there.

I just passed my 25th anniversary living with MS.
