Howdy- not new, just back!

Hi everyone! I see a lot of new folks here, welcome, but at the same time sorry for the reason. I think I have been gone from here for about a year and a half, give or take alittle.

So many things to catch up on besides new meds that are now available and ones that are in trials also. Hopeing to catch up on how everyone is doing.

As for myself, almost 2 months ago I went thru a 3 week period that my walking and balance were significantly better, still walked with my "balance beam" ha-ha" but that's ok.

Also I gave in and purchased a W/C (actually got it free with ins.) Now hubby and I are going to movies and next week Friday we are going to a comedy show in Green Bay. I also went to the grandkids Christmas program and some of their activies. So glad that I finally came to my senses!

That's all for now, it's after 2 a.m. here so I should get a few hours sleep. Be back tomorrow, Casino

I got a w/c too (for free), and know how liberating it can be for those times you can't walk the distance. We do what we must to keep involved, don't we?

Kathy, it is good to have you back! It is amazing how much more you can do when you have a wheelchair ( just do not attempt to take it out in the snow). Glad you are back, it just hasn't been the same without you.
