Relaspse Fatigue Lazy or what? help

Been in bed for about 3 week unable to get up. Have vertigo and once on way to bathroom after slamming into wall without benefit of alcohol lol I felt I might not make it back to bed. Very very little sleep as you can see my the time of this post. Eyes red and sunk back into head look like raccoon and they itch. Not able to get up often enough to heat washcloth to place on eyes (can't read and barely watch TV).

Have lots on plans in brain but body won't go along. No neuro until INS kicks in Jan 2014. Thoughts anyone? anyone? BTW always been a human doing not human being lol For SURE type A personality and hard on self thus this seems quite difficult for me.

I think you need to see a doctor regardless of your insurance status. Three weeks seems like a very long time.
Wish I were a clinician; sorry I can't be more help.
If you know you have MS and you know you are having a relapse, wondering if you need steroids?

All right, this sucks. Have you not been to a regular doctor? Don't wait for a neuro appointment, get a bit of assistance, right now.
It's no good spending three weeks in bed and miserable.

Sounds like you need to see a doc

Not sure what state you live i, but often times there are state subsidized clinics that you can go to for sliding scale. I used to live in Arizona and there was an offshoot of one of the main hospitals that was state subsidized and so sliding scale. Any of the diagnostics, like MRI, EKG, etc...were also sliding scale.

Your symptoms sound serious. You could try an urgent care but they would probably refer you out to a specialist. If that is all you feel you can afford to do at this point, at least do that. Check with the National MS Society to see if they know of anyone in your area that can see patients sliding scale. Don't let it go when the symptoms are this bad.

Thanks to all and I am going to take your advice Cause I've been fighting with Medicare and BCBS due to a screw up and told yesterday it may be a month before a decision is made. I actually know you are all correct as I would tell you or my adult children. It's just I prefer to live on my boat of DE-NIAL (yes it is near a river in Egypt! lol Thinking this will go away if I wait a few more days. ha ha ha ha well a gal can dream can't she??

BTW item I left out (which is actually kinda concerning me duh), I have been having chest pains for about 2 weeks really stabbing into the heart area that only last for about a few seconds off and on during the day and night. Not scale of level 10 like a heart attack nor definitely not panic attacks been there done that and have the tee shirt

So I guess I'll call in the am and make an appt and figure the $$ Ins out later! Drats this is why getting old is H(&()*I*(
