    Short circuiting

    Hi guys,

Feel like I'm short circuiting! Does anybody gets zaps/ electric shocks/ painful twinges?

I have in on my face from my trigeminal neuralgia....however I get the painful electric shocks on my arms, sometimes on my feet, ears, back...

Does anyone else get this? They only last a couple seconds but are painful!

    Still in limbo

    Many Thanks,

Yes! Probably my first symptom a few years ago - strong electric brain zaps that affected my whole body. Turned into just zaps in my left arm that were 'shocking' but not really painful. After a few months they started to hurt (felt like being poked with a cattle prod), and ultimately turned into nerve pain in my arm that was beyond excruciating. Neurontin helped...
No sir, I don't like it.

I get little electrical explosions all over my body. Mostly in my legs.
Its like when I had the EMG/NCV test and they stick the needle in your leg and shoot electric impulses through it, that's what it feels like except all over and its like ping ping ping.

None of the nerve pain medication helps but narcotics work.
The doctors always told me that narcotics will not help because its from the nerves and narcotics do not work on nerve pain but its the only thing that stops it.
