If you are looking for a neurologist in the Pittsburgh area check out this from our Resource Page here http://resourcecenter.msworld.org/pa...eurologist/#ms

This is from the Am. Academy of Neurology. Click on the link and put in your state. Hopefully, others here will add their recommendations from someone they know and trust.

Did you click on the subspecialty bar (at the top of the search) and put in MS? I came up with about 8 of them. Here's the link:

originally I did and only 1-2 showed up and none had MS in their bio. I tried again and the search was actually saved and many more showed up. I was kind of looking for a personal recommendation also. Thanks

There are 2 excellent MS neurologists at UPMC in Oakland, Dr. Heyman and Dr. Mitchell. I see Dr. Mitchell but many others that I have talked to see Dr. Heyman. The wait to get an appointment can be long but is well worth it. Good luck!

Dr. Rock Heyman at UPMC. He's an MS specialist and has been my neurologist for eight years now (I have NMO) and he is excellent.

I am two hours to the north, in Erie Pennsylvania, and I see Dr. Erica Grazioli. I think she is fantastic and I would recommend her every day of the week and twice on Sunday! She is located at UPMC Hamot`s Northshore neurological. Good luck with whomever you choose.
