New and Old at the Same Time

I guess it's time to introduce myself.
I've been posting for the last few days and most of you have never heard of me.

I am 47 years old, was dxd with MS 13 years ago.

I was doing pretty well until I hit year 7, then started going downhill. I am in a wheelchair but working on getting out of it.

Was working full time until 2 months ago. Now I'm applying for disability. I am a lady of leisure.

I have been on ABC and R. Currently I am on B.
Having some Baclofen Pump issues now, which are frustrating.

I have 2 caregivers -- my 67 year old mom who babies me and spoils me and my 16 year old son, who's really great and I use for muscle.

I hope my long and varied MS life experience can help at least one person.

Hi mselinida and welcome to MSWorld~ You just helped me as I had to laugh at all the exclamation points here!!

I'm sure there will be plenty of people you can help with your experiences. I've had MS for 24 years and I'm still learning! That's great you have two loving caregivers. Does you mom live with you?

Good luck on applying for disability. It didn't take me long, and I'm a lady of leisure too

      Hello and Welcome elinida!
When I can laugh at my experiences, I own them and they don't own me!

Yes, my mom lives with me.

I wish she was a lady of leisure, but she's like the Energizer Bunny. When she doesn't have me or my son or the house to take care of, she bakes bread!
