Will run out of Copaxone tonight

Thanks to my insurance company, I will run out of Copaxone tonight.
It could be 3-5 days before I get a refill.

I have been on this med for 6 years and never missed a shot.

Needless to say, I am very scared!!!
Anyone else ever run out for a few days? Any input welcome.

I have had this happen to me in the past...I went directly into panic mode...but you shouldn't panic. I have gone several days without C shots and did not have any issues.

Of course we are all wired differently & I can't guarantee that your experience will be the same, but when I met my new neuro a couple of months ago he asked if I ever miss any Copaxone shots...I confessed that I do occasionally miss a shot, maybe once or twice a month...he commented that was an excellent record and that many patients miss much more than that.

I have been on Copaxone since 2001.

Believe it or not, your doc may have free samples. Also, there is evidence that going every other day with Copaxone is just as good, so I wouldn't worry.
