Topamax?

I have gained some weight since the onset of my MS. Between decreased activity, depression, steroids, etc. I am just not burning enough calories and I suppose I am eating too much.

Has anyone taken Topamax and have you founf weight loss to be a side effect? I am wondering if switching from Neurontin to Topamax would help in that regard but I don't want to lose out on the relief I feel from Neurontin. Thoughts? Experiences?

I take Topamax though weight loss is a side effect not as much as I would want!! I have gained a lot as well for all the reasons you have described and seemed to have stabled out. But I think age has helped me keep some of it now. I do swim most days but it just doesnt seem to want to leave!!

Can I ask what you take top for? In wondering if it will help with numbness and neuropathy like neurontin does.
