    To LDN Users

I couldn't believe my good fortune when I asked my neuro if he would prescribe LDN for me and he said yes.

I have read alot about LDN and recommendations for starting dosages. My question for all of you who have been down this road is: Does this sound like a reasonable dosing schedule?

1.5 mg /day for 2weeks, then 2mg a day for 2weeks then jump to 3 mg/day for 30 days and see how I am doing. I am hoping he could write one script in this way to save me time and agravation.

I want to give my neuro all the help and info I can that I don't set myself for failure.

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

    thx

Here is a document that should help you and your neuro when prescribing LDN:

Here is a list of compounding pharmacies who make LDN:

Personally, I get mine from Skip's via mail order. I just paid $66 for a 100 day supply of 4.5mg.

Getting LDN in 1.5mg capsules during your ramp-up period allows you to easily increase from 1.5mg to 3.0mg to 4.5mg over six weeks just by adding capsules.

Here is an interesting presentation on LDN dosing by a doctor in the UK who has MS himself:

In the UK, LDN is often dispensed in liquid form.

Finally, here is a list of drugs to avoid while taking LDN:

And a press release on LDN research released at the most recent conference on MS (ECTRIMS) that explains how LDN works. Your neuro would probably find it interesting.

I use the homemade liquid form. It makes it very easy to adjust your dose!

I'm on it. Really sad it hasn't made a difference for me yet, but wondering how long it takes. Been on it for three weeks.
