Generic Lexapro

Anyone tried the new generic Lexapro? Just got my first months worth of it about 2 weeks ago. Not that much cheaper. Here the brand name is $130 and generic is $108.

Since I started taking it I don't seem to feel the same. I seem to be having some depression, mood swings and sometimes kind of crazy thoughts. Just wondering if anyone else has tried it yet and feel any different.

Yes! After taking brand Lexapro 10mg for 5 years I was happy to see that it was finally available in generic form. I have been paying $75 a month co-pay because I felt the med was worth the cost. However, about two weeks after the change to generic I started to feel my depression and anxiety returning. By week 3, I was crying at the drop of a hat. Saw my doctor yesterday and I am going to try Cymbalta because I am really hoping this will help with my chronic low back and muscle pain. Lexapro worked great for a long time. I was very surprised the generic was so different!
