I have had MS for 6 years. Scan after scan only shows the same 2 lesions, yet this last MRI shows NO lesions at all. I am on my third neurologists which state that had it not been for the tiny white matter I may have never been diagnosed with MS. Has anyone had their lesions disappear?

Hi diva:
Yes, lesions can heal to the point that they're no longer visible on MRI. They may resolve completely (which understandably corresponds to the remission phase of relapsing-remitting MS), or they may resolve to the point that they're too small for the MRI scan to pick up but are still there.
I had a sizable spinal cord lesion that resolved to the point that it's not detectable on MRI anymore (which is kind of surprising, considering how big it was), yet I still have lingering symptoms from it.

Yep, they can. For a long time I had the same two big lesions, then a third. Then two years ago, one of those had disappeared and I had 4 new small lesions instead.2001: 1st 2 relapses, "probable MS." 2007: 3rd relapse. Dx of RRMS confirmed by MS specialist. Started Cpx. (Off Cpx Feb 08-Mar 09 to start a family; twins!) Dec '09: Started Beta. Oct '13: Started Tecfidera. May '15: Considering Gilenya.
