Has anyone ever put in a charge of discrimination (SP) with the EEOC. I recently started one for age and disability. I am just wondering if anyone has gone thru this. And if so did it get settled?

At my job I have experienced age and disability discrimination. It seems to have worsened since the economic decline. Blatant disregard for others. The mistreatment is towards all the employees. I wouldn't even consider requesting 'reasonable accommodations' Florida is a right to work state, which really means they can fire you without cause. With bleak job openings, I'm stuck. We all have to take it or get out. I haven't had an MS attack in 20 years and have had several in the 3 years I have worked for this company. It's scary, to be 56, doing manual labor (all I have ever done), being constant, blinding, pain, and not being able to own a home or put any $ away in a 401k. My life is miserable and I see no light at the end of the tunnel. Are there no MS advocates to go to for help?EmmieO
