big disappointment

I took tecfidera for 9 days, broke out in sores on my chest started having breathing problems got phenmonia, blood pressure been high racing heartbeat, now been a month still very congested and wheezing has damaged my lungs to the point have to see a lung specialist. only had little trouble with stomach but i take robinol and omeprazole anyway for stomach. took betaseron for 14 years been off last 2 years cause had injection sight reactions that caused hard shard like knots so when i heard about tecfidera was really excited now not worth dying over if i hadn't quit taking it thats where i would be

That's too bad Tallred. Did you or your doctors report your lung problems to the manufacturer and the FDA? It could be important because a woman who had taken Tecfidera died from pneumonia even though she had already been off of it for a few weeks.

Tallred, OMGoodness, I am so sorry you have gotten so sick from Tec. I hope the lung spec. will help you and you feel better soon.

Tallred, sorry about your difficulties with Tec. I understand your disappointment. A few of us have had allergies or reactions to Tec. I stopped taking it after around 4 weeks due to rash and fluid retention. I'm am now looking at other meds.

I hope you find something else that works for you.
