    I'm JC + 😢

The hospital neuro just told me I'm JC+.

I asked her for the number associated with the test and she said it's just positive.

I'll try to get it from medical records.

So does anyone still take this even if they're positive?

Oh yeah. Thousands of people do. Have them check your titer level for the JC virus. This is a separate test than just checking if you have the virus. Mine was pretty low. You have to be at .4, according to my dr, to be considered +. Mine was at .78. Sooo, I decided to go for it.

Well the hospital neuro told me I couldn't take it if I was positive. But my neuro didn't mention that at all!

It's really hard to get competent care in these parts...

        Correction: I'm negative

And I'm going on it either way, even if I seroconvert.

But when are they gonna come up with a more reliable test than a titer?
