    We are brave

I have decided I am quite brave. And so are the rest of us. Yes, it all sucks, and yes we get a tad depressed at times, and have a good old vent, but frankly I think we're all bloody fantastic.

And not in a "oh poor thing, isn't she doing well running a marathon" way, buy in a keep battling on against hopeless odds for the sake of family, friends, ourselves and life itself way.

Knocked down again and again, and we still get up, ready to face another round, face another day. And every day is a mystery. What might happen, what has happened overnight, and yet here we are.

Putting on the bravest face we can, and coming back for more. Cracking hardy, the whole "I'm fine" thing, the triumph of hope over experience. It is utterly inspiring how much people can take without giving up.

Yay us. Every day is a small victory. (May have had one too many happy pills, but I mean it.)

        Thinkimjob,

        Great attitude. Thank you!

"frankly I think we're all bloody fantastic"

Can I get this on a shirt or a bumper sticker or something?

I know what you mean, what I go through everyday would reduce a lot of strong men to "blubbering blobs". Is it bravery or the strongest human instinct...that of self preservation?

To carry on in this world, full of stress and drama, going against healthy society, takes a lot of guts. We are brave for sure. We have to be very mentally tough as well, to keep fighting everyday and not give up.

Very well said Job! You've had plenty more struggles than I, so it means much more being pointed out by you.

              I whole-heartedly agree!

Mind you I do feel like the Black Knight in Monty Python's movie about the quest for the Holy Grail sometimes.

We ARE brave. And, I have to say, I have a huge internet girl crush on you, Think. You always walk the fine line between honesty and levity that is often missed(with good reason) in these posts.

Well said, thank you so much for this post!

I think we develop a real strength from enduring this disease and trying to make a life in spite of it.
