    A Texan in Oklahoma

I finally decided to join in on this forum. There's a lot of good people and info here.

My first MS symptoms started in July 2010 (tingling, numbness, and weakness that started in my feet and quuickly progressed to most of my body). I also had fatigue, headaches, and noise/light sensitivity. The worst of all that settled down some after a few months, with recurrences periodically (RRMS). I adjusted to the symptoms and went on with life. However, I started having vision problems about 5 weeks ago (double vision and dizziness), so I'm having to adjust again. MS sucks for sure.

Oh, and all this on top of having Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS, basically arthritis of the spine). It's the medication (Enbrel) for the AS that led to the MS.

But all in all, I consider myself a blessed man, with a great wife and kids and two young grandsons. I've been able to work throughout all the problems, but the vision problems may make me seek accomodation (work from home on those days).
    RRMS since July 2010.
