    ON pseudo-exacerbation?

Can symptoms of ON come back as a pseudo-exacerbation during times of strong exhaustion and stress?

    #2
Yes it can. It also comes on during times of increased temperature called Uhthoff's phenomenon. This is where MS symptoms get worse temporarily when the person is exposed to heat, fever, exercise, saunas, and hot tubs, especially ON. The same principal applies to stress and exhaustion, your nerves do not conduct as well, making symptoms worse temporarily.

    Hope you feel better soon.

      me too!!

THANK YOU for posting. I wondered the same, as it has been so blasted hot here these last few weeks, and the little brown dot in the center of my vision started again, which is how the ON started the first time when I was diagnosed.

I forced myself to stop, cool, and roll on with happy things b/c I DO NOT want to take the solumedrol again if I can prevent it.

It went away when I cooled off. scary
