    Could these be symptoms ?

My hair is starting to thin and I am gaining weight even though I watch what I eat . My ankles and feet are swollen almost all the time . Wondering if these are yet more symptoms or perhaps side effects of the different meds I take . I have had a thryoid work up and that's not the problem .

These are not MS symptoms. They could be a result of medication side effects, especially antidepressants or sleep aid medications. As for your thyroid, you need to make sure that your docs are testing for a complete thyroid panel that includes free T3 and free T4. Not just uptake not just total and uptake.

Above all I wish you luck in your search. Medicines are big culprits of weight gain, but not all cause hair loss, that is more of a thyroid thing. That is why the right test is so important. You may want to see an endocrinologist to help sort it out.

    Take care

      hi

I second the above response. These are possibly the side effects of the meds you are taking. Have you tried consulting your doctor regarding this who prescribed you those meds?

Along with the other suggestions, there is a question of the foods you ingest. Maybe your diet can be improved by using more fruits and vegetables. I can only speak from my experiences. As long as I eat and drink/juice many fruits and vegetables, I feel a lot better. Good luck
